Transportation annual training was held this year from August 20, 2018 till August 24, 2018. Scott Russell and Rubie Moser, ETHRA Transportation Safety Department, put together the training classes which consisted of an aver-age of 20 drivers per day through the week. Training was provided by Megan Gatterdam, RLS & Associates. We were able to have almost all 100+ drivers in for training this year with the help of scheduling and the cooperation of our wonderful clients. Training this year covered transporting non ambulatory passengers, customer service, ADA, sensitivity and risk management. All drivers are required to attend ETHRA training and a minimum of 15 Annual training hours each year.

Infection Control, Mental Health Issues, ADA Regulations, HIPAA and Title VI-Civil Rights Act of 1964, Risk Management, Reporting Member Fraud and Abuse, Customer Service, Courtesy, and Sensitivity Awareness, Wheelchair Securement/Child Safety Restraints/Seat belt usage, Emergency Evacuation, Substance Abuse and Crisis Management, Vehicle orientation and daily inspection, Driver Simulator Training, Annual Road Test/Annual ETHRA Roadeo, CPR/First Aid, Communications (radio, cell phone, email, etc.), Passenger Assistance, Drug and Alcohol, Defensive Driving, and Proper use of technologies.
