2018 Tennessee Elder Justice Conference Success

The ETAAAD at ETHRA hosted the Tennessee Elder Justice conference this year at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg on September the 18th and 19th. We had over 360 people in attendance from at least 4 states, including Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana, and South Carolina. The conference highlighted the vulnerability of older adults in Tennessee and focused on solutions aimed at minimizing exploitation and abuse.
There was a panel discussion on Elder Abuse and how each of the agencies represented were addressing the issue and what change would help going forward.
